Our Mission: The Piedog Foundation was established to promote and provide for the wellbeing and welfare of Patsey Sue Piedog
(1992-2007). Piedog Planet aims to promote the wellbeing of Piedogs everywhere, through education and advocacy. We encourage
the adoption of homeless animals from pounds, shelters, and rescue groups, and advocate responsible pet care and ownership,
especially spaying and neutering all pets.

ADOPTABLE ADORABLE PIEDOG
| LEO - Border Collie & Husky |
|
|
| Homeward Bound Dog Rescue, Monticello MN |
- Name: Leo
- Breed: Border
Collie / Husky Cross
- Age: Adult
- Gender: Male
- Description:
Leo has it all...brains, good looks, and charm. This athletic Border Collie / Husky is looking for an active home
who will put his Border Collie brains to good use and will provide him with enough daily exercise (he'd be a great jogging
buddy). He enjoys kids, especially school-aged ones who will play with him and teach him tricks. Leo is fostered with cats
and other dogs and does fine with them, though he can be bossy with the male dogs sometimes. He'd be just fine as the only
dog in the house. He has nice house manners and is housetrained. Leo will be at his fullest potential in a home with a large
fenced-in yard or an area where he can run hard and play to his hearts content! In fact, we are requiring that his new home
have a securely fenced yard. This guy is a very playful, attentive dog with a big heart to give and receive love. We like
to say that Leo is a good communicator, and isn't afraid to express himself by barking if he feels the need to say something....since
he's a smart, observant dog it means he often has something to say, so if barking is a problem to you than Leo won't be a
good match. He'd do well with someone who has dog experience, especially with Huskies or Collies, and can work with him on
his barking...er, communication skills. He mainly feels the need to communicate when he's outside and sees something interesting
going on or wants to talk to a nearby dog. For obvious reasons, all animals adopted from Homeward Bound MUST live indoors only. Dogs over the age of 6 months are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for heartworm/lyme disease.
You may email Megan at homewardbounddogrescue@yahoo.com for more information. She can also send you a pre-adoption questionnaire.
